The İznik Murad I Bath and Tile Museum is an important cultural site presenting İznik's renowned tile and ceramic tradition within a historic Ottoman bath. Also known as the Meydan Bath and Büyük Hamam, the building stands out with its domed spaces and traditional bathhouse architecture.
Following restoration, the historic structure was transformed into a museum where the history of İznik and its celebrated tile-making heritage are presented through various exhibits. Roman-period remains uncovered during restoration also reveal the site's layered past.
