The Yıldırım Bayezid Complex is an important early Ottoman architectural ensemble commissioned by Sultan Bayezid I in the late 14th century. The complex includes a mosque, madrasa, tomb, bath and darüşşifa, bringing together religious, educational and social functions.
With its distinctive architecture and structures reflecting the social, educational and medical institutions of the early Ottoman period, the complex is one of Bursa's prominent historical and cultural heritage sites.
