The Hüdavendigar Complex is an important early Ottoman architectural ensemble commissioned by Sultan Murad I in the 14th century. Its centerpiece, the Hüdavendigar Mosque, is particularly distinctive for combining a mosque on the ground floor with a madrasa on the upper floor within the same structure.
Consisting of a mosque, madrasa, tomb, imaret and bath, the complex is one of Bursa's significant cultural and religious heritage sites, notable for its architecture, historical atmosphere and elevated setting.
