Located at the northwest corner of the Burunucu Mosque, the Burunucu Fountain is one of the historical structures reflecting Bulancak’s traditional water culture. Built with a rectangular plan using cut stone, the fountain originally featured resting platforms and a water trough. Today, the original spouts have been replaced by modern plumbing. Its location right next to the mosque and the historic burial ground makes the fountain a complementary element of this historical complex. With its simple architecture, the Burunucu Fountain stands as a fine surviving example of the water structures that once played a vital role in daily life.
