İncesu Canyon is one of the notable natural attractions in the Ortaköy district of Çorum, known for its steep cliffs, river scenery and impressive landscape. Stretching for approximately 12 kilometers, the canyon varies between 40 and 60 meters in width. The Çekerek River flows through the valley, surrounded by rocky slopes and patches of woodland.
The canyon is also rich in historical remains. Traces from the Hellenistic period can be seen on the surrounding cliffs, and a large relief of the goddess Cybele is located deeper inside the canyon. With its walking routes, rafting opportunities and dramatic scenery, İncesu Canyon offers visitors a memorable combination of nature, history and outdoor adventure.
