Located in Nasrullah Square in the city center of Kastamonu, the mosque is one of the city's most important historical symbols. Built in 1506 during the reign of Bayezid II by Kadı Nasrullah, the mosque's significance extends beyond its architecture. The sermons given here by Mehmet Akif Ersoy during the Turkish War of Independence have made it a significant place in Turkish history. Therefore, the Nasrullah Mosque holds a special place not only in Kastamonu's religious and architectural heritage but also in its national memory.
