Beylerbeyi Sarayı

Welcome to Beylerbeyi Palace, located on the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus in the Beylerbeyi district of Üsküdar, boasting a prime waterfront location. Built in the 1860s during the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz, the palace served as a summer residence for Ottoman sultans and a magnificent venue for hosting foreign dignitaries. The palace's interiors feature decorations reflecting both Ottoman and European art, crystal chandeliers, precious furniture, and impressive ceiling ornamentation. Its gardens along the Bosphorus, seaside pavilions, and marble pools complete the elegant atmosphere. Important foreign guests of the time, such as Empress Eugénie of France, were also hosted here. With its magnificent architecture and unparalleled Bosphorus views, Beylerbeyi Palace is one of the most special destinations where you can closely explore 19th-century Ottoman palace life and Istanbul's elegant architectural heritage.
