Antakya Stuffed Chard Rolls

Antakya Stuffed Chard Rolls are a traditional dish from Hatay, made by wrapping chard leaves around a filling of rice, olive oil, onions, garlic, tomato and pepper paste, pomegranate molasses, and spices. The pomegranate molasses and aromatic spices give the dish its distinctive tangy flavor. Known as “zılk” because this is the local name for chard in Hatay, the dish is enjoyed in everyday meals as well as at weddings, holidays, gatherings, and festivals. It reflects Antakya’s long-established tradition of stuffed vegetable dishes.
